what we believe
The web is a truly unique medium, a place where anyone can publish ideas, art, and tools. It offers the chance for a civilization facing global challenges to communicate, organize, and self-govern.The current state of the web does not reflect this promise.
Instead, large corporations have seized control to sell us things, make us distrust or even hate one another, and control what is published and who sees it. The state of our world & democratic institutions is largely a reflection of this hijacking.
our goals
- to create a place for creativity and community free from the influence and surveillance of big tech.
- to foster human-to-human learning and collaboration for a better web and world.

We are calling ourselves a digital collective— a community working together sharing infrastructure, knowledge, and resources towards our common goals. We are heavily inspired by the tildeverse and other small web communities, but with a more explicit goal of encouraging collaboration among our members.
